The fastest animal in the water is the sailfish
The sailfish can reach speeds up to 68mph (110km/h). The Marlin is a close second with a top speed of 50mph (80km/h).
Sailfish
Sailfish are living in warmer parts of the oceans. They are mostly blue to gray in color and have a characteristic erectile dorsal fin known as the sail. This sail stretches the whole length of the back of the sailfish.
The sailfish grows to a size of 3 meters and weighs around 90kg.
