Debunked: Yak milk is pink

One of the many untrue facts in the common ‘didyouknow’-lists is the fact that Yak’s milk is pink. But is it?

Normally, Yak milk is just like any other type of milk and white of color. It is said though, that after birth the first supplies of milk is slightly pinkish. This coloring is because of the blood mixed into the milk. This is calls beestings’ milk.
But other than that, the milk is just white….
